Responsible for supporting the web-based initiatives of the marketing department with an emphasis on infrastructure and application and framework development. Administer and maintain all web, application, database, revision control, and issue tracking servers related to the organization's main website and numerous supporting websites. Build, implement, and improve custom and existing content management system plugins.

Implemented server-side caching plugin, reducing page load times by 80 percent and server load averages by 60 percent. Customized plugin to allow automatic, page-specific cache breaks on content changes, ensuring updates are immediately visible while maintaining cache efficiency.

Built online store, including integration with third-party credit card processor and control panel to manage discount codes. Built demo registration application, including control panel to manage demos, approve registrants, and send calendar invitations and reminders.

Developed a server- and client-side forms framework, providing easy integration with databases, internal and external notifications, and customer relationship manager while allowing complete customization of the entire process when necessary. Reduced form-based page load times by up to 90 percent and form processing times by up to 50 percent. Added client-side validation and AJAX handling, resulting in a better overall user experience.

Re-engineered web server environment, cutting total servers by 33 percent, reducing load averages on application server by 50 percent, and lowering costs by at least 40 percent.

Revamped issue tracking system to better align with business processes, automate common tasks, and utilize a combination of Agile methodologies.
